Mishkan

MISHKAN is a Home where the reality of Kingdom Community Life is Experienced. We are established in Ntinda, Kampala-Uganda as an Assembly of Empowered Community of Christ’s Making Disciples of all people groups, with the Good News of the Kingdom of God.

Our name Mishkan, is a Hebrew word which means, “God’s Dwelling Place,” “Habitation” or “Tabernacle.” (Exod. 25:8-9). It reveals our calling as living stones, all coming unto Christ the Chief Cornerstone in whom all the building, being fitted together, into a dwelling place of God in spirit, a holy Tempe in the Lord, to reveal His nature and eternal purposes of His house on earth.

Our History

Registered in 2016, in we began as a Small Fellowship of Believers, meeting every Friday for Prayer, Word and Fellowship at Life Ministry Uganda Building in Kololo. It is from this Place that we grew, encountered the Presence of God, increased in His grace, and experienced great Ministry of God’s Word, Prayer and Deliverance, that helped us build a strong foundation in Christ Jesus

Our Statement of Faith

The sole basis of all our beliefs is the Bible, God’s infallible, inerrant written revelation of His Word. We believe that the scriptures, both the Old and the New Testament, are uniquely and fully inspired by the Holy Spirit and serves as the supreme and final authority in all matters in which it speaks (II Timothy 3:15-17; I Thessalonians 2:13; II Peter 1:21); and is our all-sufficient rule for faith and practice.

Our Statement of Faith is derived from the Bible and is intended to reflect the beliefs we hold dearly as members of the body of Christ. No claim is made that it contains all Biblical truth, but serves to communicate our fundamental doctrines.
